Aston Villa is pursuing AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori as they aim to strengthen their defense following Ezri Konsa's departure. Tomori is valued at around €15 million and has impressed during five seasons in Italy. His pace is an asset, but questions remain about his ability to enhance Villa's backline amid significant departures, including Morgan Rogers and Youri Tielemans. The club needs to act decisively to address these gaps previously filled by key players. Villa's interest in Tomori is seen as lacking ambition, raising concerns over his suitability for their defensive needs.
