The Houston Astros signed their first-round selections from the 2026 MLB Draft on July 22. Outfielder Logan Hughes, picked 17th overall from Texas Tech, was recognized for a strong season with a.375 batting average and 18 home runs. RHP Jack Radel, selected 28th overall from Notre Dame, went 8-3 with a 3.29 ERA and recorded 116 strikeouts last season. Astros Director of Amateur Scouting Cam Pendino announced the signings.
