Astros to induct Alan Ashby and Phil Garner into Hall of Fame today

Alan Ashby and Phil Garner will be inducted into the Astros Hall of Fame tonight at Daikin Park, prior to the game against the Seattle Mariners at 6:10 p.m. The ceremony is scheduled to start at 5:35 p.m. Ashby, a former catcher and broadcaster, and Garner, a former player and manager, were selected by the Astros Hall of Fame committee. This induction adds to the franchise's Hall of Fame, which was established in 2019 and includes 28 previous members. Members of Garner's family will attend in honor of his posthumous induction following his passing earlier this year.
