Atalanta discusses deal for former Juventus winger Samuel Mbangula

Atalanta has opened discussions for a potential transfer of Samuel Mbangula, who previously played for Juventus and currently represents Werder Bremen. Reports indicate that conversations are taking place as the Serie A transfer window approaches its deadline on September 1. Mbangula, 22, had a successful stint with Juventus, scoring four goals in 32 appearances during the 2024-25 season before moving to Bremen for €10 million last summer. Atalanta's sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, who was at Juventus during Mbangula's promotion, is expected to be involved in the negotiations. The club is also pursuing Bologna's Jonathan Rowe, with an offer of €40 million on the table.
