Atalanta engages Nottingham Forest for Nicolò Savona transfer

Atalanta is pursuing Nicolò Savona, engaging in direct talks with Nottingham Forest, where Savona has been since last summer. Cristiano Giuntoli, who has worked with Savona before, seeks to strengthen the squad under new head coach Maurizio Sarri. This move could facilitate Inter Milan’s pursuit of Marco Palestra, as Savona plays in the same position. Inter has already agreed on personal terms with Palestra but is negotiating a fee with Atalanta. Reports indicate that Atalanta is firm on their asking price of €50 million.
