Atalanta prepares for match against Roma as Sarri implements tactical changes

Atalanta director of sport Cristiano Giuntoli stated that the club requires time to adjust to Maurizio Sarri's new tactical system. The team is transitioning from a man-marking defensive approach to a zonal system following nine years under Gian Piero Gasperini. Despite the ongoing adaptation process, the squad looks to build on recent victories against Sassuolo and Bologna. Franck Kessié and Jonathan Rowe are both in contention to make their debuts during today's match at the Stadio Olimpico. Giuntoli noted that Kessié returned as a free agent and Rowe joined from Bologna in a deal valued at 40 million euros plus add-ons. Kamaldeen Sulemana and Isak Hien remain unavailable due to injuries as Atalanta seeks to continue its recent form in Serie A.
