Atalanta targets Savona, seeks replacements for Ederson's Man United transfer

Summary

Atalanta is pursuing Nicolò Savona of Nottingham Forest as a potential replacement for Ederson, who is expected to join Manchester United for €45 million. The club is also considering midfield options, including Ardon Jashari from Milan and Lucas Da Cunha from Como. However, talks with Milan are contingent upon the club securing a new sporting director. Atalanta recently appointed Cristiano Giuntoli and intends to implement a 4-3-3 formation under new coach Maurizio Sarri, moving away from their previous three-man defensive setup.
