Athletic Club manager comments on Barcelona's interest in Laporte

Summary

Athletic Club head coach Edin Terzic addressed speculation linking Aymeric Laporte with a move to FC Barcelona following a friendly against Sestao River. Terzic remarked that the rumor is not new, comparing it to last summer's transfer saga involving Nico Williams. Barcelona sees Laporte as an attractive option due to his experience and left-footedness, with a release clause around €12.5 million. However, securing a new center-back is not a priority for Barcelona at this time, as they focus on targeting a new center-forward, with Julián Álvarez being a top candidate.
