Oakland Athletics shortstop Leo De Vries is scheduled for surgery on his right shoulder on September 13 to address an anterior labrum injury. The 19-year-old top prospect last played for Double-A Midland on August 14 and was subsequently moved to the 60-day injured list on September 1.
