Atlanta Braves look to acquire Casey Mize in offseason move

Summary

The Atlanta Braves' 2026 season ended in disappointment as they were eliminated by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Division Series. The team is expected to make significant roster changes during the offseason, focusing on strengthening their starting rotation. One potential target is right-hander Casey Mize, who will be a free agent after his time with the San Diego Padres. Mize, who posted a 4.32 ERA over 26 starts this season, could provide the Braves with a reliable arm for their rotation as they aim to improve after a challenging postseason.
