Atlanta Braves promote slugger Jordan Groshans to Triple-A Gwinnett

The Atlanta Braves assigned Jordan Groshans to the Triple-A Gwinnett Stripers on September 1. Groshans spent his 2026 season with Double-A Columbus, where he recorded 30 home runs, 18 doubles, and six triples across 103 games. The 26-year-old infielder was originally drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in 2018 and has played in several organizations throughout his career, including the Miami Marlins, where he made his MLB debut in 2022. This promotion follows a season in which he matched half of his career minor league home run total. The Braves are currently playing a two-game series against the Washington Nationals before heading to Philadelphia to face the Phillies this weekend. Groshans will continue his development with the Gwinnett squad for the remainder of September.
