Atlanta Dream to host WNBA Finals games at smaller venue

Summary

The Atlanta Dream will play Games 3, 4, and possibly 6 of the WNBA Finals at Gateway Center Arena in College Park, Georgia, starting October 22. State Farm Arena, their preferred venue, is unavailable due to pre-scheduled events including a concert and two Atlanta Hawks games. While the Dream have previously played playoff games at State Farm Arena, discussions to move Finals games there have been unsuccessful. They will return to State Farm Arena for the 2027 season under a multi-year agreement.
