Atlanta Falcons claim offensive tackle Cameron Williams off NFL waivers

The Atlanta Falcons added offensive tackle Cameron Williams to the roster on Monday following his release by the Philadelphia Eagles. The move occurred as the Eagles reduced their roster to 53 players on Sunday. Williams, a 2025 sixth-round draft selection out of Texas, missed part of his rookie season on injured reserve with a shoulder injury. Philadelphia also parted ways with fellow 2025 sixth-round pick Myles Hinton during the roster cutdown process. While Cincinnati claimed Hinton, Atlanta acquired Williams to provide depth at the tackle position. Williams previously started 15 games at right tackle during his final season with the Longhorns and is now expected to compete for a role in the Falcons' offensive line rotation.
