Atlanta Falcons finalize 53-man roster before season opener against Steelers

The Atlanta Falcons set their 53-man roster and practice squad ahead of Sunday’s season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Following a series of offseason changes under head coach Kevin Stefanski, president of football Matt Ryan, and general manager Ian Cunningham, the team continues to adjust its lineup. While the team has not yet designated a starting quarterback from a group including Michael Penix Jr., Tua Tagovailoa, Cooper Rush, and Jack Strand, an announcement is expected early in the week.
