Atlanta Falcons sign former Georgia running back Cash Jones to practice squad

The Atlanta Falcons added running back Cash Jones to their practice squad after he failed to secure a spot on the team's 53-man roster. Jones, a former walk-on at Georgia, earned the opportunity following a strong preseason performance. During the second week of preseason play, he recorded more than 100 total yards and scored a touchdown in a victory against the Indianapolis Colts. He enters the practice squad alongside Tyler Goodson, while Bijan Robinson and Brian Robinson remain the primary running backs on the active roster. As an undrafted free agent from the 2026 draft, Jones is viewed for his receiving capabilities and potential utility on special teams.
