Atlanta Hawks waive guard Devin Carter after one season

The Atlanta Hawks released Devin Carter on September 11. The 24-year-old guard enters free agency following a stint with the team. Carter appeared in 38 games during the previous season while playing for the Sacramento Kings. In those appearances, he recorded averages of 8.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. He played an average of 18.4 minutes during that tenure. The transaction leaves the guard without a roster spot as he looks for a new team.
