Atlanta teen Rohan Anand recognized at ESPYs for nonprofit work

Rohan Anand, a 19-year-old from metro Atlanta, receives the Billie Jean King Youth Leadership Award at the ESPY Awards for his nonprofit, Rise N Reach. The organization, founded in 2023, empowers underserved youth through sports and mentorship in diverse communities, particularly in Clarkston, Georgia. Anand's work addresses local challenges faced by families, providing essential support and skills development through athletics. He emphasizes the significance of the community’s children gaining access to opportunities that foster confidence and life skills. Anand will receive a $2,500 grant to further sustain the organization’s mission.
