Atletico Madrid agrees to sell Julian Alvarez to Arsenal

Summary

Atlético Madrid has reached an agreement to sell Julián Álvarez to Arsenal for €50 million plus Swedish forward Viktor Gyökeres. The deal reportedly emerged despite Atlético's previous insistence that Álvarez was not for sale. The agreement follows a rejected €150 million bid from Real Madrid and ongoing interest from Barcelona. The confirmation of the deal is pending a formal statement from Atlético.
