Atletico Madrid issues statement against Julian Alvarez transfer rumors
Summary

Atletico Madrid has condemned Barcelona and Julian Alvarez's representatives, claiming the club is a 'victim' in the ongoing transfer saga. Alvarez, who wishes to join Barcelona, faced boos from supporters during a recent match against Villarreal. Atletico stated there is a 'zero per cent chance' they will sell him to Barcelona. The club, who want an acceptable offer by Friday, also indicated they may be open to discussions with Arsenal, despite Alvarez's preference for Barcelona.
