Atletico Madrid maintains position on Julian Alvarez despite Barcelona interest

Summary

Atletico Madrid has reaffirmed its stance regarding Julian Alvarez amid reports suggesting a change. Despite indications from some sources that Atletico might consider selling Alvarez to Barcelona, a recent report from MARCA insists that Atletico will not facilitate the player's transfer to their rival. The club is under financial pressure to generate funds for summer acquisitions, yet they remain resolute in denying Alvarez a move to Barcelona. Alvarez's performance at the World Cup has been underwhelming, adding another layer to the ongoing transfer narrative.
