Atlético Madrid completed the signing of striker Jonathan David on a loan agreement for the 2026/27 season on Tuesday. The move follows negotiations between the Spanish side and Juventus as Diego Simeone sought to bolster the club's attacking options. David traveled to Spain to undergo a medical examination and finalize his contract ahead of the transfer deadline. Juventus facilitated the departure after securing a replacement in Newcastle United forward Nick Woltemade. The Canadian international will wear the Red & White jersey for the remainder of the season.
