Atlético signs Thiago Borbas, reaches foreign-player limit in Brasileirão

Atlético has reached its foreign-player limit of nine following the signing of Uruguayan forward Thiago Borbas. The maximum number of foreign players allowed in Brasileirão matches is nine, although clubs may sign more. Borbas joins the squad from Red Bull Bragantino, previously on loan at Real Oviedo. He will compete with Colombian forward Cassierra for a starting position. Argentine coach Eduardo Domínguez now has a diverse roster of foreign players available for selection.
