Attilio Biasca participates in first Boston Bruins rookie camp session

Attilio Biasca joined the Boston Bruins for his first rookie camp session on Friday following the signing of a two-year contract this past June. The 23-year-old Swiss forward moved to the NHL after securing a Swiss league championship with Fribourg-Gottéron and a silver medal at the IIHF World Championship. During the international tournament, Biasca played on the top line alongside New Jersey Devils players Timo Meier and Nico Hischier, recording one goal and two assists across 10 games. Providence Bruins head coach Trent Whitfield observed the initial practice, noting the forward's ability to battle for pucks in confined areas. Biasca faces the primary adjustment of adapting to the smaller North American ice surface. He remains signed through the 2027-28 season with a cap hit of $980,000.
