Auburn competes for commitment from 2028 QB Sam Sollie on Saturday

Sam Sollie, a three-star quarterback from Gadsden City High School, will announce his college commitment on Saturday, August 8. Auburn is among several SEC schools competing for his commitment, including Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Kentucky, and Mississippi State. As a 10th grader, Sollie had a strong season, passing for 1,318 yards and 13 touchdowns and leading his team to the playoffs. Auburn has a favorable forecast from Rivals experts, who predict a 96% chance of landing Sollie, contrasting with Tennessee’s 1.4%. Sollie’s decision will mark the first addition to Auburn's 2028 recruiting class.
