Auburn prepares to host Southern Miss at Jordan-Hare Stadium

Auburn hosts Southern Miss at Jordan-Hare Stadium this Saturday for the team's first home game of the season. Southern Miss enters the matchup following a 49-3 victory over Alcorn State, while Auburn is coming off a win against Baylor. This game marks the first home appearance for the program under the Alex Golesh era. The Southern Miss offense, led by running backs Steven Robinson and Jamarice Wilder, recorded 317 rushing yards in their season opener. Defensive back Kobi Albert also contributed three interceptions for the Golden Eagles last week. The two programs last met in 2018, when Auburn finished with a 24-13 victory.
