Auburndale football overwhelms Ridge Community in season opener

Auburndale football opened its season with a dominant 57-0 victory over Ridge Community on Friday night at home. Senior quarterback Teo Edwards had a standout performance, throwing for 307 yards and four touchdowns while adding 57 yards rushing. Coach Antonio Thomas acknowledged the win but noted the need for improvement, particularly due to 16 penalties. Highlights included an 81-yard kickoff return touchdown by Isaiah Johnson and a defensive pick-six by Andy Westry.
