Auburndale partners with Florida Polytechnic for new sports venues

Auburndale and Florida Polytechnic University have finalized a partnership to enhance sports facilities, confirmed during the Auburndale City Commission meeting on July 20. This three-year agreement provides venues for Florida Poly’s new athletics program, including practices and home games at the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex, Auburndale Softball Complex, and Auburndale Community Center. The soccer teams will utilize these facilities for their inaugural seasons starting in August. Florida Poly will receive priority scheduling and access to locker rooms, aiming to foster a vibrant athletic culture for its students.
