Auburn's Byrum Brown named to Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award watchlist

Auburn quarterback Byrum Brown has been chosen as one of 27 quarterbacks for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award preseason watchlist. This award honors the top upperclassman quarterback in college football and emphasizes excellence on the field, character, and leadership. In the previous season, Brown became the only quarterback in college football to throw for over 3,000 yards and rush for over 1,000 yards. He joins Auburn as a senior, aiming to replicate his past performance amid formidable SEC competition. This is Brown's second preseason accolade, having also been named to the Maxwell Award watchlist alongside running back Jeremiah Cobb.
