Audi has officially appealed the results of the Italian Grand Prix to the FIA. The team seeks a penalty for Racing Bulls driver Yuki Tsunoda, who finished 10th at Monza. Audi contends that Tsunoda committed a violation of Article B5.9.4 by failing to start from the pit lane after causing an extra formation lap during the race restart. Gabriel Bortoleto of Audi finished seven seconds behind Tsunoda and would potentially gain a point in the Constructors' Championship if a 10-second penalty is applied.
