Austin Ekeler supports Dan Quinn's leadership amid team struggles

Washington Commanders running back Austin Ekeler praised head coach Dan Quinn for cultivating a strong locker room culture ahead of the Week 6 matchup with the San Francisco 49ers. Ekeler noted Quinn’s honesty and accountability as key attributes, stating that players appreciate his straightforward approach regardless of game outcomes. The Commanders are seeking improvement after a tie against the New York Giants, which featured poor clock management, leaving little time for a game-winning field goal. Ekeler is expected to take on a larger role due to the absence of starting running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt.
