Austin Greyhounds, Blue Jays start postseason play this weekend

BaseballThe Austin Greyhounds and Austin Blue Jays will begin their postseason runs this weekend. The Greyhounds, seeded No. 2 in the District 2B Tournament, host No. 7 Plainview at 2 p.m. Saturday. A victory would lead to another home game at the same time on Sunday. The No. 8 Blue Jays travel to face top-seeded Red Wing for their first-round matchup, also scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday. The Dodge County Diamondbacks, seeded No. 6, will play No. 3 Northfield at 5 p.m. Saturday.
