Austin Hill named full-time driver for Richard Childress Racing in 2027

Austin Hill will drive the No. 33 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series starting in 2027. Hill, who has been competing this season and previously in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series, took over the ride after the passing of Kyle Busch. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity and aims to apply what he has learned this year to help the organization. Hill won 16 races at the secondary level of NASCAR and also competes in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
