Austin Reaves prepares for training camp after offseason in Mexico

Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves is entering the final weeks of his offseason before training camp begins next month. Following a stint at a minicamp hosted by teammate Luka Doncic in Slovenia, Reaves recently spent time in Mexico. The Lakers enter the upcoming campaign with a roster that added nine new players during the summer, including Walker Kessler and Quentin Grimes. Reaves is expected to move into the team's primary second-option role behind Doncic. This shift follows a career-best season where he averaged 23.3 points and 5.5 assists per game. The guard is playing under a four-year, $185 million contract extension as the team shifts focus toward competing for a championship.
