Austin Simmons leads Mizzou passing attack in victory over Arkansas Pine-Bluff

Mizzou defeated Arkansas Pine-Bluff 54-14 on Thursday night. Quarterback Austin Simmons completed 17 of 19 passes for 252 yards and four touchdowns in the win. The passing offense focused on aggressive downfield play, with 79 percent of Simmons' yardage coming on throws of at least 10 yards. Offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey integrated 10 personnel groupings and orbit motion to create space for receivers including Olugbode, Shaun Terry, and Cayden Lee. Simmons finished 9-of-10 for 199 yards on throws traveling at least 10 yards. The performance offered a look at the offensive scheme for the 2026 season.
