Austin Smotherman captures second straight PGA Tour title in Bermuda

Austin Smotherman secured his second consecutive PGA Tour title at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship on October 28, 2026. After a weather-altered tournament that reduced play to 54 holes, Smotherman triumphed over Seamus Power in a sudden-death playoff. The victory ended a 99-start winless streak for Smotherman, who previously won the Bank of Utah Championship three weeks prior. Smotherman's performance highlighted his ability to manage challenges under pressure, including high winds during the playoff. Power acknowledged the difficulty of the loss but maintained a positive outlook on his week.
