Ayyoub Bouaddi receives nomination for men’s young talent award

Ayyoub Bouaddi has been named to the shortlist for the Men’s Young Talent of the Year award at the upcoming Ballon d’Or ceremony. The 18-year-old midfielder joined City last month from Lille after recording 96 appearances for the club across multiple competitions. Since his arrival at the Etihad, the Moroccan international has made two substitute appearances for the team in domestic league play. He is expected to participate in his first Champions League fixture as City prepares to host Porto. The award recipient will be determined by a jury of former Ballon d’Or winners and officially announced at an event in London on October 26. This nomination follows previous experience gained during his tenure in France and his performance with Morocco during the recent World Cup tournament in North America.
