Babar Azam remains without a Test century for 36 consecutive innings

Babar Azam has failed to record a Test century since December 2022, a drought spanning 36 innings across 17 matches. The Pakistan batter’s most recent triple-figure score was a 161 against New Zealand in Karachi. Since then, he has recorded several fifties but has been unable to convert those starts into a century. His recent performance in the second Test at Lord's saw him dismissed for 8 and 6 as Pakistan struggled against England. Having missed the first Test due to a finger injury, his return has not yet yielded the expected runs for the side. He currently remains in pursuit of his 10th career Test century.
