Badshot Lea FC manager banned for squirting water at referee

Adam New, joint manager of Badshot Lea FC, has received a suspension until January 26, 2027, after an incident in April where he was sent off for squirting water at a referee during a match against Tooting & Mitcham United. The Football Association deemed the act as constituting physical contact or attempted physical contact towards a match official. New's club expressed disappointment with the severity of the ban but stated their support for him. Lee Dyson has been appointed as joint manager in his absence as the club prepares for the upcoming season.
