Ballyspallen concedes match to Eglinton due to printer issue

Ballyspallen was forced to concede a match against Eglinton in the North West Cricket Union Premier League on Saturday. After Eglinton posted 159 runs in 48.1 overs, Ballyspallen was at 19 runs in just two overs when rain halted play. Due to a broken printer, officials could not generate the required Duckworth-Lewis-Stern sheet, resulting in Eglinton being awarded victory without further play. The decision stems from North West Cricket Union regulations, which require the home team to have necessary equipment operational before matches. With this loss, Ballyspallen remains at the bottom of the league standings.
