Baltimore Ravens sign kicker Jake Moody to the practice squad

The Baltimore Ravens signed veteran kicker Jake Moody to their practice squad on Sunday. The addition provides the team with an experienced backup option for rookie kicker Tyler Loop. Moody, 26, originally entered the NFL as a third-round pick for the San Francisco 49ers in 2023. He later spent time with the Chicago Bears and Washington Commanders, converting 18 of 20 field-goal attempts across those tenures. Loop remains on the 53-man roster as the primary kicker despite an inconsistent preseason performance that included missed attempts from 49 and 58 yards. The Ravens maintain two additional openings on the practice squad following the transaction.
