Pau Cubarsi, who won the Best Young Player award at the tournament, is viewed by teammates as having performed at a high level throughout the season, despite his rise in visibility coming only after the World Cup. Cubarsi played every minute of Spain's World Cup campaign and has logged nearly 5,200 minutes in the last season across all competitions.
