Barcelona has acknowledged receiving Atletico Madrid's complaint regarding alleged negotiations for Julian Alvarez. The dispute has escalated, with Atletico claiming that Barcelona approached Alvarez without prior permission while he remains under contract until 2030. This situation echoes a similar incident from 2019 involving Antoine Griezmann, where Barcelona faced a minor fine after a domestic investigation. Although this case does not guarantee a similar outcome, it suggests limited disciplinary measures may result. Barcelona plans to respond to Atletico's complaint as the RFEF prepares to review the evidence from both clubs.
