Barcelona agrees to extension with Marc Bernal until 2031

Barcelona has reached an agreement with Marc Bernal to extend his contract until 2031. The deal is expected to be signed this week, pending final paperwork. This extension follows an adjustment in Bernal's contract last year, indicating the club's confidence in the 18-year-old midfielder despite his limited playing time this season. Bernal has featured in all nine of Barcelona's matches this campaign, with a total of 338 minutes played. The contract will maintain a €500 million release clause, reflecting both parties' commitment to a long-term partnership.
