Barcelona awaits Julian Alvarez while exploring alternative attacking options
Summary

Barcelona is focused on signing a top striker as they seek a replacement for Robert Lewandowski. Julian Alvarez remains the primary target, but negotiations with Atletico Madrid have stalled, putting Barcelona in a holding pattern. Despite exploring other market options, the club has not formally withdrawn its offer or pursued new targets aggressively. Time is running short with Alvarez's decision needed before his training starts on August 10. Ferran Torres is becoming a pivotal figure in the attack as the situation develops.
