Barcelona coach targets Finn Jeltsch as defensive solution in January

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is considering a move for Stuttgart defender Finn Jeltsch during the January transfer window. Despite a strong start to the season, winning all 11 matches, Barcelona faces challenges in central defense following injuries to Andreas Christensen and other players. Flick's interest in Jeltsch comes amid reports that both Liverpool and Real Madrid are also monitoring the young defender, who has recently earned a call-up to the German national team. However, Barcelona might need to reassess this pursuit due to Jeltsch's lack of experience and the need for a more seasoned player. Alternatives, such as Nico Schlotterbeck from Dortmund, may also be explored.
