Barcelona confirms €12m sale of midfielder Tommy Márques to SC Braga

Summary

Barcelona has reached an agreement for the permanent sale of midfielder Tommy Márques to SC Braga for €12 million, including potential add-ons. The decision comes as Barcelona aims to secure financial stability while Márques seeks more playing time after limited appearances last season. The 19-year-old's move follows increased competition for first-team minutes with the club's pursuit of Manchester City's Rodri. Márques's transition will reunite him with former teammate Pau Víctor at Braga.
