Barcelona considers backup options amid Julián Alvarez negotiations

Barcelona is exploring alternative options for a center-forward amid ongoing negotiations for Julián Alvarez, who is currently with Atlético Madrid. The club has identified Bournemouth's Eli Junior Kroupi as a potential target but faces resistance from the Premier League side, which is unwilling to entertain transfer talks. The search follows the departure of Robert Lewandowski, which has heightened the urgency to reinforce the squad ahead of the upcoming season. Negotiations for Alvarez have stalled, prompting the need for contingency plans to secure a new signing before the summer transfer window closes.
