Barcelona considers move for Rodri as Real Madrid nears signing

Barcelona is contemplating a last-minute push to sign Rodri from Manchester City as he edges closer to a deal with Real Madrid. Rodri, central to Spain's World Cup victory, is valued highly following his successful tournament performance. While Real Madrid leads in negotiations, Barcelona's interest is reportedly driven by concerns over Frenkie de Jong's injury. The club sees a midfield addition as beneficial, despite not yet making a formal bid. Rodri's future remains uncertain as both clubs assess their next steps.
