Barcelona considers Tresoldi after ending pursuit of Alvarez

Summary

Barcelona is looking at Nicolo Tresoldi as they shift focus from Julian Alvarez. The club's exploration of options for a forward intensified after it became clear that acquiring Alvarez would be challenging. With Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres departing, Barcelona signed Gabriel Jesus but seeks a longer-term solution. Tresoldi scored 23 goals last season and has continued strong performance this season with five goals in nine appearances for Club Brugge. The striker’s development has caught the attention of Barcelona, especially given his compatibility with their playing style and current goalscoring situation.
