Barcelona contacts Villarreal striker Georges Mikautadze as Álvarez alternative

Barcelona has initiated contact with Villarreal striker Georges Mikautadze as a potential alternative to Julián Álvarez. Mikautadze, who scored 15 goals and provided six assists last season, is open to a move if Barcelona's pursuit of Álvarez fails. Villarreal is reportedly willing to negotiate, with a transfer fee set at €60 million. Mikautadze fits Barcelona's requirements for a mobile striker, displaying pace and on-ball skills.
